Key responsibilities for the Retail Windows and SDA Category Marketing Manager include:
• Drive and execute the Windows @ Retail and SDA integrated marketing strategy and vision in the regional retail channel, including managing new channels or method of distribution
• Define and influence the various elements of the marketing mix and key retail programs within the region that will direct and influence ROI based on the business goals
• Land Windows @ retail category strategies at retail to maximize revenue and socket opportunity
• Manage the relationship with Regional OEM marketing and Windows Consumer BG to Maximize PC opportunities through collaboration and planning
• Provide in depth business analysis on the regional Windows @ Retail and SDA business performance for revenue, attach and margin
Key Measures of Success
Key measures of success are tired directly to the Windows and SDA scorecard.
• Windows FPP/WAU revenue and unit performance
• Windows @ Retail scorecard metrics
• Strength of relationship across Windows @ retail internal and external ecosystem including OEM, BG, CCG
• Landing of Windows 8 launch in the channel including retail offers
